Putin asks prosecutors to react to pressure on business

MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday asked the Prosecutor General's Office to react to all cases of pressure on business.

"State prosecutors must demonstrate high competence, protect the interests of state, society, and people effectively, including the need to improve the quality of work to protect the rights of entrepreneurs. In general, to ensure reliability of the entire framework of the local business environment,” he told a Prosecutor’s Office meeting.

“I ask you to respond to the facts of pressure and infringement of the rights of companies, especially the in small and medium-sized businesses, as well as in relation to the self-employed and individual entrepreneurs.”
